These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VIDA application and website operated by VIDA Technologies ("VIDA", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using VIDA, you agree to these Terms.

1. The VIDA service

VIDA is a platform that connects drivers offering scheduled trips with passengers seeking a ride, and connects people seeking a private driver or vehicle rental with independent parties offering them. VIDA provides the technology that facilitates these connections, bookings and payments. VIDA does not provide transportation or rental services itself; rides, drivers and vehicles are provided by independent users.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use VIDA.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• Drivers must complete verification and hold a valid license, insurance and a roadworthy vehicle.

3. Trips, bookings & payments

• Drivers set their own routes, schedules, available seats and prices.
• Passengers may book available seats subject to driver acceptance.
• Payments, wallet balances and payouts are processed through our payment partners.
• Fees, cancellations and refunds are handled as described within the app.

4. User conduct

You agree not to misuse the service, including by providing false information, harassing other users, attempting to bypass safety or payment features, or using VIDA for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Safety

While we provide verification and safety features, you are responsible for using good judgment. Always follow local laws, wear seatbelts and report any safety concerns to us.

6. Disclaimers

VIDA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the availability, conduct or reliability of any driver or passenger. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VIDA Technologies is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VIDA Technologies' total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of VIDA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
